Another Day at The Office

This past weekend, I had the privilege of going on a gator hunt and let me say I had the best time! As someone who had never been on a hunt my entire life, I'm glad I got to experience gator hunting and I would 100% do it again! It was so exciting being on the river at night time and looking for the reflection of the gators eyes in the light. The first gator we caught was around 8 feet but we let him go and continued hunting. Around 2 hours into the hunt we came across a giant gator. We were lucky enough to get an 11ft gator! The guides made everyone feel important and made sure everyone got a part in the hunt. My favorite part was running up on the gators super fast and being so close to them. Did you know gators have crazy nerve endings and can move for hours after they are dead? It's pretty creepy that they can still move, our gator was still moving its legs after we were done with the hunt. I am so thankful to work with great people who are dedicated to what they do!
